Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 11, 2026
1. Overview
VoiceClaw ("the App") is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, access, or share any personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how the App works, including any temporary data handling that occurs for technical reasons, and why your data stays yours.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
VoiceClaw does not collect any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to us
We never read, inspect, or access the content of your conversations with your AI agent.
3. How the App Works
VoiceClaw acts as a communication bridge between Apple's Siri and your self-hosted OpenClaw AI agent:
- Session tokens are stored locally in Apple Keychain — the most secure storage available on Apple platforms.
- Messages are sent from your device to a relay server and forwarded to your OpenClaw instance in real time. We do not log message content and have no means to view it.
- Pairing codes are temporary (24-hour TTL) and exist only to establish the initial connection. They are automatically deleted after expiry.
4. Temporary Message Buffering
When your device is offline or the app is not running, AI agent replies may be temporarily buffered on the relay server so you don't miss any responses:
- Only agent replies (from your AI agent to your device) are buffered. Messages you send are never stored.
- A maximum of 50 messages are buffered per session.
- Buffered messages are delivered immediately when your app reconnects and are then permanently deleted from the relay server.
- The developer does not have access to and never reads the content of buffered messages.
- All buffered data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/WSS) and stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure, which maintains SOC 2 Type II certification.
5. Third-Party Services
VoiceClaw does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is with:
- The relay server — a Cloudflare Worker that forwards messages between your device and your OpenClaw plugin. Message content is relayed in real time and is not logged. Agent replies may be temporarily buffered as described in Section 4.
- Your OpenClaw instance — which you host and control. Refer to OpenClaw's own privacy practices for how your agent handles data.
6. Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:
- All network communication uses HTTPS and WSS (encrypted WebSocket).
- Authentication tokens are stored in Apple Keychain, which uses hardware-backed encryption.
- Temporarily buffered messages are stored in Cloudflare Durable Objects and deleted as soon as the app reconnects.
- Session tokens are cryptographically generated (256-bit) and never shared with third parties.
7. Children's Privacy
VoiceClaw is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since the App collects no data at all, this concern does not apply in practice.
8. Your Rights
Since VoiceClaw does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete. You can remove the App and all locally stored data (including Keychain entries) at any time by deleting VoiceClaw from your device.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
